My Lovely Wednesday {personal}

   Today has been a wonderful day. Good quotes, amazing scenic mountains, and lovely music all wrapped up in my Wednesday. So that is what I am going to write about. =D I don't think I have felt this productive and rejuvenated in a while. Ahhhhh.....I am just going to sit here and soak it up for a little longer.
There. =)

   In the past 2 weeks, I have filled my quote book with 27 pages of new quotes. That's a lot, isn't it? I am going to have to start doing something with them, because my collection of quotes needs some publicity. Here is just ONE of the many many that I have written down. (Definitely a favorite!)
"Take this rule: whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your conscience, obscures your sense of God, or takes off the relish of spiritual things; in short, whatever increases the strength and authority of your body over your mind, that thing is sin to you, however innocent it may be in itself."       ^Susanna Wesley

   Every other day, I probably have three new favorite songs. Songs that I listen to over and over and over and.....over. I am not sure if you are interested or not  - but these are the songs I have been just a little addicted to recently:

Bring Him Home - Les Miserables {The Piano Guys}
All About Us {He is We/ft. Owl City}
You Lead {Jaime Grace}
Anyway {Lauren Alaina}
Dream {Lecrae}
^Breckenridge is the most beautiful place in the fall! Oh.....one day, I am going to live here. Yes, this is the view I am soaking up.
So there you have it. A taste of my wonderful day. Quotes, Songs, and the Colorado mountains. I took some really lovely pictures of my best friend today. Keep your eyes over here to see them, because they are coming soon! =)

Oh, and go ahead and comment if you have a favorite quote or an addicting song. I love suggestions!

Amanda | Alameda High School {denver, co senior photography}

I am in love with these pictures. I feel like saying that 1,000 times! Amanda is so beautiful, and her green eyes really pop in these pictures. =) I need to give this girl a lot of credit - because every time that I explained what I was thinking with a pose, she knew what to do RIGHT away! Amanda = a natural poser.

Stay tuned for some more pictures coming next week! I had a really tough choosing which pictures I wanted to include in this post....so I this is going to be Part 1....

I am going to end by saying that I am in love with these pictures. Again. Let me know if you like the color or the black and white pictures better. =)

Jesse & Adrielle: wedding {Spruce Mountain Ranch, CO wedding photographer}

“Are you nervous?”-  I asked.

Adrielle never replied.

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to be a second photographer at a beautiful wedding. It is going to be hard to record all of the emotion, detail, and joy that was clearly at the heart of August 28th, 2011. Every detail was completely perfect. From the dresses to the venue, continuing with the vows all the way through to the centerpieces. Beginning with two people and ending as one – Adrielle did a wonderful job weaving both of their relationship and personalities into their day.

It was apparent as the Bride and the bridesmaids were getting ready - that this was a close knit group of girls. The conversations between them were reflective on the past at the same time as being completely in the present.  As the afternoon slowly transformed into evening – the clouds started rolling in. We all looked outside hoping and praying for the sky to remain closed just long enough for the ceremony. Shortly before the wedding was to begin, however, the sky started to release large raindrops. After about 20 minutes of rain, Jesse and Adrielle decided it was long enough! (After all, they hadn’t seen each other all day…) And so began a wedding in the rain. Once the bride started walking down the isle – God miraculously closed the sky just long enough for the vows and first kiss. Finally, there was a Jesse & Adrielle Stanley. =)

Enjoy my snapshots of Jesse and Adrielle’s wonderful wedding. The pictures clearly tell the story of their day.
